When I told my wife I just sent off all her chopping knives she was very skeptical about the mail-in service. She did not believe we would ever see our knives again. I assured her that I spoke to the owner of the company. He promised they would be fantastic when we received them back. He was correct; they are very sharp. I tested them on a cold Carrot. It is like cutting a piece of paper with a razor. No effort at all. This is what I was looking for. I love to cook but cannot stand dull knives. Now that summer is upon us a many a vegetable will succumb to the new sharp knives. The wife still thinks I’m a little crazy but oh well she has always thought that.
They also did me a great favor. I received my late Father in law’s or as we called him Norman, pocket knife for my birthday. Norman carried it in his pocket for nearly 30 years as a College professor and high school teacher. The knife had never been cleaned or sharpened as far as I could tell. EdgeMasters was able to clean off all the tarnish and put an edge back on both blades. It actually shines now. I will carry this in my pocket for a few years and hope to give it to my grandson some day.
